Rebuilding Iraq starting from water

Iraq, the land of rivers, is losing its water heritage. Climate change, droughts, upstream dams in Turkey and Iran, pollution, and mismanagement are putting the Tigris, Euphrates, and Mesopotamian marshes, one of the largest wetlands in the world, at risk. The water crisis is complex, with multiple factors, and can be the cause of future conflicts. A group of young Iraqi activists is trying to raise awareness of the issue.
